IMP-09 · Go-live checklist

Everything a hospital needs before its first real patient. Each line links to the journey that does it, all walked and verified in a browser.

Verabase operations (before handover)

  • [ ] Tenant created with the right type and region, and each facility has the correct timezone (CP-02)
  • [ ] Licence plan matches the order form, and every purchased module is granted
  • [ ] Activated; the one-time Facility Admin credentials handed over securely
  • [ ] Ward and front-desk devices registered (CP-03)
  • [ ] Support can see the runtime online and the database healthy (CP-04)

Facility Admin

  • [ ] Temporary password replaced (IMP-01); at least two Facility Admins exist (IMP-02)
  • [ ] Staff email is connected: one person uses Forgot password? and the reset email arrives within a minute (FAC-ACC-01). If it doesn't, ask Verabase support to check the hospital's email connection
  • [ ] Every privileged member of staff has turned on MFA from Account & security, then the tenant MFA policy is switched on (IMP-02)
  • [ ] Every staff member has their own account and role; licences recorded with expiry dates (IMP-02)
  • [ ] Every ward and bed on the Bed board, each ward linked to a unit and department (IMP-03)
  • [ ] Service catalogue priced in naira; HMO/NHIA contracts entered as payer prices (IMP-04)
  • [ ] Interaction rules and dose ceilings from your Drugs & Therapeutics Committee entered, and each proven on a test patient (IMP-05)
  • [ ] Registration questions and patient forms say what your hospital needs (IMP-06)
  • [ ] Timezone, clinic hours and this year's public holidays set (IMP-07)
  • [ ] Provider orders routed to pharmacy; pharmacist verification set to Warn or Block; barcode policy decided; every ward scanner attested (IMP-08)
  • [ ] Each ward's controlled-drug cupboard counted into the register as a receipt, in ampoules or vials, witnessed (FAC-MAR-02)
  • [ ] Drug charts printed at the start of each shift on wards that lose power or network (FAC-MAR-03)

Dress rehearsal

  • [ ] Run FAC-OPD-01 end to end with real staff on a test patient
  • [ ] Run FAC-IPD-01 on one ward
  • [ ] Give rehearsal patients an obvious name (e.g. TEST Rehearsal) and list their MRNs, so they can be excluded from reports

Known limits to plan around

Open items in gaps that affect go-live today:

  • Scanner attestation lives inside a dose form.
